Personal training is one of the greatest ways to help you see results in the shortest time frame possible. That’s why, no matter which track you choose at Copper City Strength & Conditioning, personal training will be a component of your journey with us. Whether you choose to do personal training ONLY or you decide to participate in one of our exciting group classes, our Hybrid Membership Structure ensures you will still get to have periodic personal training sessions with your primary coach. This serves as an opportunity for us to customize your experience as well as a chance for our staff to make sure you are on track to achieving your goals.

Our professional coaching staff will guide you through your daily fitness lesson plan, starting with a warm-up to get your body primed for movement, explain all movements being performed for that session, cue your movement to ensure you are moving safely and optimally and, finally, provide stretching and mobility at the end to cool you down and optimize recovery.

1.) General Physical Preparedness (GPP) – Utilize a healthy mix of weighted resistance, bodyweight training as well as basic conditioning like running, rowing, biking and jumping rope to obtain a well rounded fitness. The variety of movements and movement combinations keeps your workouts fun and novel. This type of fitness will enhance the other aspects of your life, from work to play!
2.) locoMOTION – Get CRAZY fit with our NEW 45 minute, fast paced group class that combines interval based workouts with live biometrics to help you find the appropriate intensity to match your individual goals!
3.) Barbell Club – Barbells can be INTIMIDATING. But our professional coaching staff will help remove the mystique from this age-old weight training implement by breaking down the movements of the two main barbell disciplines: Olympic Weightlifting and Powerlifting. Our program leads provide a weekly, linear program design and coaching during three 90 minute classes per week, helping each participant progress toward a stronger, healthier version of yourself. We can also help anyone interested in competing in these disciplines!

The Olympic lifts consist of the clean & jerk and the snatch. These two lifts are, arguably, the most technical barbell lifts. It is our belief that improved capacity in the Olympic lifts will improve performance in nearly every other facet of life. They have a unique ability to teach people how to generate and apply large amounts of force while simultaneously building strength, speed, power, coordination, balance, and flexibility. These are valuable traits for any person.

We offer detailed instruction by multiple USA Weightlifting Level 1 Sports Performance coaches, as well as one USA Weightlifting Level 2.

In the sport of powerlifting the goal is simple: lift as much weight as possible. Powerlifting consists of three core lifts: the squat, the bench press, and the deadlift. Performing these lifts on a regular consistent basis will make you stronger, less prone to injury, and (particularly important for women) increase bone density. They also improve posture, sleep, cognitive function, and metabolism (muscle tissue burns more calories – even when you’re at rest – than body fat). An added bonus is that lifting weights helps better prepare people of all ages for everyday activities – carrying groceries, picking a child up from the ground, shoveling snow, sitting down in a chair, zombie apocalypse prep, etc.

All of our powerlifting coaches are USA Powerlifting (USAPL) club coach certified.
